Recuerdo haber pasado un buen rato con Miguel en el Festival de la Guitarra de Zihuatanejo donde nos conocimos. Pasamos una tarde juntos charlando sobre la vida y la forma en que percibimos la guitarra. Nuestro trabajo en colaboración para crear juntos una canción fue una gran alegría para nosotros porque nos llevó fuera de nuestra zona de confort. Las sonrisas en nuestras caras durante este tiempo fueron para siempre. Qué lastima que no tuvimos el tiempo de grabar la canción para compartir en este proyecto. I remember having spent some good time with Miguel at the Zihuatanejo Guitar Festival where we met. We spent an afternoon together chatting about life and how we perceive it through the guitar. Having worked on a collaboration song together was such a joy for us as it put us out of our comfort zone. The smiles on our faces during this time was timeless. I wish we would have had time to record this track to share on this CD. This will be one memory I hold very dear to me for the rest of my life. RIP my brother. - Maneli Jamal
